The relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan are an ideal example of neighborly ties, these relations can also become an example for Armenia, - Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, told journalists.
“We are trying to bring together countries that share our views. The resolution of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan is an example of conflict resolution. Sometimes Armenian colleagues say that Azerbaijan determined the independence of Armenia, because the occupation policy threatened their independence. Certain events are now taking place in the Middle East. Azerbaijan is geographically close to the Middle East. Given this reality, Azerbaijan pays special attention in its foreign policy to strengthening ties with Central Asia. In addition, Turkey and the Turkic Cooperation Council are creating a new reality in this region. Azerbaijan's natural resources, as well as the relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan, are an ideal example of neighborly ties. These relations can also serve as an example for Armenia," Hikmet Hajiyev noted.
