Washington County shooting suspect arrested for the second time
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A man who was arrested in 2022 for attempted second degree murder, has now been arrested for the second time in Washington County. (RELATED: Suspect arrested after shooting in Washington County)
According to the sheriff’s office, 39-year-old Brian Patrick Rich was arrested in December 2022 on charges of attempted second degree murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Rich bonded out on the $200,000 bond but failed to appear for a recent court date related to the case, police say.
Officials say with the help of the United States Marshal Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force; he was taken into custody in Jackson County this week where he’s waiting back to Washington County.
